Happy (almost) Winter! We end our 2021 busy season with many thanks to all of the travelers, from near and far, that crossed Lanesboro off their lists of places to visit this year. We are so grateful for coming to our little town. Over the years, the Cottage House's meeting room has been home to many of our family's Thanksgivings, and it was again this year with extended family, young and not-so-young. It was a fun celebration of multiple generations, and for that, we are grateful again. How do you practice gratitude? There are many ways to acknowledge what you are grateful for: journaling, nightly dinner conversations on what you are grateful for today, gratitude jars, mailing thank you notes, telling someone how grateful you are for them, volunteer your time, and many more. We hope you find ways to practice gratitude this season, and think of all the things to be grateful for. In doing so, may you feel some lightness and peace, and may you simply smile as you think on gratitude.
