The winter brown is turning spring green, and our daffodils are blooming with the tulips ready next. Lanesboro and the region have a lot of fun spring events coming up, so we welcome you back to bluff country!
Fri. & Sat., April 19-20, 2024: Get Squirrely with Surly - Surly Brewing takes over the taps in Lanesboro! Events on these two special days include an Earth Day clean up, beer tastings at different establishments, and a pub crawl with raffle!
Also on Sat., April 20, 2024, is the Lanesboro Community Cook Out Benefit at Parkway Place (empty lots downtown) from 11am-4pm or until gone. This cook out benefits the Charlebois Family as mom and wife Emily battles cancer. Free will donation for a pulled pork sandwich, chips, coleslaw, drink and dessert!
Thurs., May 2, 2024: Lanesboro's Sons of Norway lodge invites you to hear from Lanesboro's esteemed jeweler Liz Bucheit, on her travels to Northern Norway and all about Norwegian Sami Silver. Come from 7-8:30pm for a fun and education discussion with cookies and coffee. Free and open to the public.
Sat., May 11, 2024: Spring Boutique & Business Crawl - come into town for samples, deals, and specials at our retail stores, restaurants, and more! Local vendors will be selling hand-made items at Parkway Place (empty lots downtown), and be sure to pick up a bingo card for a chance to win one of many prizes from our local businesses (no purchase necessary).
Fri., May 31, 2024: Our neighbor Whalan has started a new music series called Music in the Bluffs. Travel to Whalan on May 31 from 6-9pm to hear the renowned Mollie B at the first Music in the Bluffs featuring
Sat., June 1, 2024: Wrapping up the spring season is the Rhubarb Festival! This one day festival is all things rhubarb (rhubarb songs, rhubarb olympics, rhubarb tastings, etc.).
