Cheers to 30 Years!

The Cottage House Inn is celebrating 30 years of being 'Your Inn When You're Out!'

To celebrate our milestone, twenty-nine family and friends, ages 3-93, were able to gather in Lanesboro recently to dine at one of Lanesboro's newer restaurant's, Juniper's.  What a delightful afternoon to enjoy the most delectable food and outstanding service from another family business.  In reflection of thirty years in business, some interesting numbers were calculated:

• Two building additions (in 1996 and 2000)
• Three generations of management (Waldo and Marilyn, Lynn, and Alison)
• Eight businesses incubated (including Coffee Street Fitness, Intermission, The Vintage, Waldo's....)
• Over 115,000 guests served (how grateful we are for you!)
• 23,000 rolls of toilet paper used (how grateful we are to our supplier!)
• 20,000 gallons of coffee enjoyed (never an empty cup to be found)
• Countless pancakes, memories, stories, laughs, tears, & hugs

In reflection of thirty years, we have much to be thankful for:  our Cottage House founders who saw a need in the community for family loding and took a risk; our business community for supporting and helping one another; the creation and growth of our Chamber and Visitor Center; our amazing many staff members; and most importantly, our guests and residents who love Lanesboro and then share that love with others who in return, come to Lanesboro!  It is an honor to be in this vibrant community, and it is a pleasure to host you during your visit to Lanesboro.  Cheers to 30 years!
